About the platform
What is BuildTrusted?
- BuildTrusted is a managed introduction service for construction and renovation work in the Netherlands: clients describe a project, a person reviews the request, and suitable construction professionals are invited to it. It is an initiative of AlphaOmega Constructors B.V.
Is BuildTrusted a directory or a lead marketplace?
- Neither. There is no public directory of professionals and leads are not sold to whoever pays most; every introduction is reviewed by a person before it is made.
Where does BuildTrusted operate?
- In the Netherlands. The pilot is deliberately small, so coverage depends on the professionals available for a given trade and region rather than being nationwide.
Is BuildTrusted the same company as AlphaOmega Constructors?
- BuildTrusted is an initiative of AlphaOmega Constructors B.V. and is being developed as a separate network. AlphaOmega Constructors is the initiator, not a guarantor of other participants.
For clients
What does it cost a client to submit a project?
- Nothing. Submitting a project and receiving introductions is free for clients; any agreement about price is made directly between the client and the professional.
How long does it take to receive an introduction?
- It depends on the trade, the region and the professionals available, and because every request is reviewed by a person there is no automatic instant match.
Who sees my contact details?
- Nobody by default. Contact details are never published and are shared with a professional only once both sides agree to an introduction.
Does BuildTrusted provide quotations or set prices?
- No. Quotations and prices come from the professional; BuildTrusted does not price the work and does not take a cut of the project value during the pilot.
For professionals
What does it cost a professional to join?
- Participation as a Founding Professional is currently free during the pilot; if that changes, existing participants will be told before it applies to them.
What is checked before a professional is introduced?
- Identity, KVK business registration, credentials, insurance and references can all be reviewed, and each detail is labelled as submitted, checked or verified so nothing is overstated.
Can a professional pay for more work or a better position?
- No. Invitations are based on trade, service region, availability and reviewed information, and cannot be bought.
Can a professional leave and take their record with them?
- A professional can ask for their profile and data to be corrected or deleted at any time, and their record of completed BuildTrusted projects belongs to them.
Limits and privacy
What does BuildTrusted not do?
- It does not guarantee workmanship, price, timing or outcome, does not supervise work on site, is not a party to the contract between client and professional, and publishes no ratings or testimonials it has not verified.
Does BuildTrusted publish reviews or star ratings?
- No. During the pilot there is no public rating and no numerical Trust Index; only feedback tied to real, completed BuildTrusted projects is recorded.
How is my data handled?
- Project details, photographs and documents are stored privately and are shown only to the people reviewing your request and to professionals you have agreed to be introduced to.
How do I raise a concern?
- Email hello@buildtrusted.com; every concern is reviewed by a person and a profile can be paused while that review takes place.
