What is BuildTrusted?
BuildTrusted is a managed introduction service for construction and renovation work in the Netherlands. Clients describe a project, BuildTrusted reviews the request personally, and suitable construction professionals are invited to it. It is not an open advertising site and it is not a guarantee scheme.

Who is BuildTrusted for?
- For two groups: people who need construction or renovation work done, and construction professionals who want to be invited to suitable projects. Clients can be private homeowners, landlords or small businesses. Professionals can be individual tradespeople, small teams or contracting companies working in the Netherlands.
What problem does BuildTrusted address?
- Finding out who is genuinely suitable for a job is difficult on both sides. Clients cannot easily judge experience, reliability or availability from an advert, and professionals who do good work have no simple way to carry that record to the next client. BuildTrusted reviews requests and professional information itself, so an introduction starts with better information than a cold enquiry.
How does a client submit a project?
- Through the project form on this website; no account is needed to start. You describe the type of work, the location, your timing and budget range, and you can attach photographs and drawings. BuildTrusted reads every submission before any matching begins, and comes back to you by email if something important is missing.
How does a professional join?
- By applying through the professional application form. You present your trade, service region, availability, portfolio and any credentials you want reviewed. Applications are assessed individually; being able to apply is not the same as being accepted.
How does managed matching work?
- A person reviews the project and decides which professionals to invite; there is no automatic algorithmic marketplace. Invited professionals can accept or decline. Where a client and a professional both agree to an introduction, contact details are released to each other. Until that point, contact details are not shown.
What can BuildTrusted check?
- Identity, KVK business registration, professional credentials and certificates, insurance documents, references, projects completed through BuildTrusted, and project feedback. Which of these have actually been checked differs per professional, and each item shows its own status.
What is the difference between submitted, checked and verified?
- Submitted means a professional provided the information and it has not been reviewed. Checked means BuildTrusted looked at the document or detail and it appeared to be in order, without independent confirmation. Verified means the detail was confirmed against an external source, for example the Dutch KVK register, at a specific point in time.
What does BuildTrusted not guarantee?
- BuildTrusted does not guarantee workmanship, quotations, pricing, availability, timelines or the outcome of any project, and it is not a party to the agreement between a client and a professional. Verification confirms specific facts at a moment in time; it does not predict how a project will go. There is no public numerical Trust Index score during the pilot.
Where is the pilot initially operating?
- In the Netherlands. Coverage depends on which professionals have joined in a given region, so BuildTrusted does not claim nationwide coverage. If no suitable professional is available for a request, BuildTrusted says so.
Is participation free during the pilot?
- Founding Professional participation is currently free. The pilot exists to test the process with real projects; any future pricing will be communicated before it applies.
What is the relationship with AlphaOmega Constructors B.V.?
- BuildTrusted is an initiative of AlphaOmega Constructors B.V., a construction company operating in the Netherlands. The platform grew out of that day-to-day building practice, and AlphaOmega Constructors B.V. is the organisation responsible for BuildTrusted and for the personal data processed through it.
